MOMMA'S BOY

Quinton is quite the momma's boy. Whenever I leave a room he will scoot and follow me and sometimes he whines and cries. Lately he has started crying when Chase gives me a hug and kiss. I don't know if he is jealous or feels left out. I tease Chase and tell him he has competition. When he is tired or cranky no one can comfort him except for me. Last night I was out for the evening and Chase told me Quinton was scooting everywhere looking for me. I like this and try and cherish every second that he wants to be with me, but sometimes I am so exhausted with having to be near him every second I look forward to when Chase comes homem from work and the other things he does.

PLAYING BALL WITH DAD

I mentioned before that Quinton already loves playing ball with his Dad. Here a few pictures of Dad telling and showing Quinton how to throw and catch a ball. They just lay on the floor next to each other and throw it up in the air. Quinton's doesn't quite make it very far, but he does try and throw it. It's pretty cute.

ANGEL BABY AT THE ANGEL GAME

Chase won tickets to the Angel game on Monday. We took our two nephews Cody and Cade and had a wonderful time. I didn't know baseball could be so fun. Infact it was so fun I didn't even mind that the Angels lost. Quinton ofcourse loved every minute of it. He just loves watching all the people and anything thats new. I think we have a future baseball player on our hands. He already loves playing ball with Dad.

POTENTIAL

One of my most frequent memories of my Mom while growing up, is of her sanding and repainting furniture. She is a pro at seeing the potential a piece of furniture has and transforming it into her vision. She still does this and loves doing it.

My sister inlaw Tasmin gave us her old and used rocking chair when Quinton was born. I just love this rocking chair and believe it is a beautiful piece of furniture, but like my Mom saw the potential it had to be even more beautiful.

Tasmin had just painted it white to match her little girls room and by the time we got is had some dents and a few paint chips and the cushions need a complete transformation.

I started working on it at the begining of June and my goal was to have it finished by the end of June. Well, June is almost over and it's not quite finished, but it is coming along. Sometimes when I look at it I feel confident that I can do it. Other times I feel like, "what the heck did I get myself into."

MEMORIAL DAY

We spent Memorial Day at the Newport Beach. It was a beautiful beach day. Even though it was super crowded, we had a marvelous time.

UPGRADE

We had to get a new car seat for Quinton, he was to cramped and uncomfortable in his old one. So far I think he really likes it. He loves sitting up and being able to see things. Also you can tell its really comfortable. It doesn't take him long to doze off.
The new car seat was really difficult to figure out how to put together. For a while I think it was winning against Chase. But after a while Chase figured it out. I am so glad that he is willing and able to put things like that together.

CALIFORNIA BABY

We finally got some sunglasses for Quinton to wear, but every time we put them on he pulls them right off. So here are some attempted pictures of him wearing his sunglasses.

IF I WOULDN'T EAT IT, NEITHER SHOULD YOU

My new motto is... If I wouldn't eat it, neither should you. For the longest time Chase wanted to buy peas for Quinton to try. I was against it all along. First of all they look disgusting and they smell bad too. Well, we gave him the peas and he would open is mouth really wide and wouldn't swallow and started gagging on them. So the peas were unsuccesful. So far Quinton will not eat, peaches, mixed veggies and peas.
Here are just of few pictures of Quinton eating. For the most part he eats pretty good, some times you will have to push him to eat.
